LJ Institute of Computer Applications (LJICA) is situated in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, and was established back in the year 2004. LJICA is a private university affiliated with the LJ University, Ahmedabad. And the institute is approved by the AICTE and UGC. The management LJICA is overseen by Lok Jagruti Kendra.

The institute offers professional courses in the stream of Computer Applications. The courses offered at the institute are for different timelines. Two courses for duration of 2-years and two other courses for the duration of 5 years. The institute offers integrated UG and PG courses as well as individual PG courses to the students.

Eligibility Criteria

For Integrated M.Sc. (IT): The applicant must have passed his/her 12th standard with a least of 40% total marks.

For Integrated MCA: The applicant must have passed his/her 10+2 level with a least of 45% total marks. And the student should have studied mathematics as a major subject at the 10+2 level. The same for the SC/ST/OBC applicants is 40% total marks only.

For MSC IT: The applicant must have passed his/her graduation with a least of 40% total marks. And the applicant should have studied mathematics as a major subject in the 12th standard or UG level.

For MCA: The applicant must have passed his/her graduation with a least of 50% total marks. And the applicant should have studied mathematics as a major subject in the 12th standard or UG level. And the same for the SC/ST/OBC applicants is 45% total marks only at the UG level.

LJ Institute of Computer Applications provides various government-funded scholarships to the students. The main aim of providing with scholarships for any institute is to provide with some financial aid for the students. Some of the main scholarships offered at LJICA are as follows:

Digital Gujarat Scholarship: This scholarship can be obtained by SC, ST, SEBC, OBC, or EBC students.

National Scholarship Scheme: This can be attained by the students who belong to the communities which are considered as minority in India. For example, the students from Muslim, Christian, Sikh, Jain, Parsi, and Buddhist communities can apply.

Saksham Scholarship: This can be attained by the physically disabled students.

Pragati Scholarship: This can be attained by the girl students studying at the institute.

Chief Minister Scholarship Schemes: This can be attained by defense personnel wards. The condition for applying for it is the parent should be physically disabled during the duty. It can also be claimed by Sharmik card holders, single mothers (widows') children, and orphan kids.
