When I decided to peruse Marine Engineering after my schooling I began research on all the colleges providing the course and shortlisted some of them, and while doing another detailed review on the same I found out that Tolani Maritime Institute is the best one for me, and that's how I ended up choosing it. I think I've made the right decision on choosing it. It provides all the facilities an aspiring mariner can ever think of, they mould us in the right way and prepare us to become a great seafarer. The training facilities, hostels, food, faculties all are the best you could ever ask for. All the facilities are experienced and well qualified and most of them are seafarers, hence providing the best of the knowledge on topics. There is also an actual ship on campus which used to sail in the ocean once, the ship belongs to the Tolani shipping and gives an actual experience of how it is inside of a ship and around it, which attracted me more.Read Full Review

Tolani Maritime Institute is a good college and one of the best colleges in India for Merchant Navy. It has good architecture and good facilities which help the cadets to study practically well in all subjects. As for the academics, it's pretty decent I would say. Teachers are good and experienced and they have been teaching for 10-15 years minimum. As for other services, hostels are clean and tidy. Mess food is really good and tasty but anyone will get bored of the same food again and again. Overall good experience this year. I'm in First year now and I think I will enjoy my life here as a cadet because they are providing me with good opportunities to showcase my talent in different fields like sports, arts, etc.Read Full Review
