Suguna College of Engineering: Admission 2025, Fees, Scholarship, Coimbatore

Suguna College of Engineering is one of the best engineering colleges in Coimbatore and was established in 2018 by Sri. G. Ramaswamy. The college is affiliated with Anna University of Chennai. As the youth of our country are filled with enthusiasm and most want to opt for engineering, this college is the right choice as it is transforming students into quite the finest engineers.

The college offers B.E in Computer Sciences, Electronic & Communication, Mechanical, Mechatronics, and B.Tech in A.I. and Data Sciences.

Suguna College of Engineering takes admission in their undergraduate courses on the basis of qualification of class XII. Applicants can directly apply online through SUGUNACE’s website and can fill out the form there.  The applicants can also visit the campus in Coimbatore and fill out the admission form offline under the guidance of the staff. After filling out the form, the successful candidates will receive the offer letter. The applicants then have to submit the admission fees along with the necessary documents such as:

1. 10th and 12th class mark sheet.
2. Transfer, Character, Community, and Migration Certificate.
3. If the applicant is from another state then they have to submit the Nativity Certificate.
4. For Non-Resident Indians (NRI), the applicant has to contact the college office for the additional necessary documents.

Eligibility criteria for the following:

• General or Other Castes: A minimum of 50% aggregate in Maths, Physics, and Chemistry. The age limit is of maximum 21 years.
• Backward Castes: A minimum of 45% aggregate in Maths, Physics, and Chemistry. The age limit is of maximum 21 years.
• Most Backward Castes: A minimum of 40% aggregate in Maths, Physics, and Chemistry. The age limit is of maximum 21 years.
• Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe: There are no minimum marks; the applicant must have only passed class XII. There is no age limit.

Means of Admission: Applicants having diplomas in engineering and BSc. in mathematics can be admitted to UG courses through below mentioned quotas:

1. Management Quota: Should be passed in the diploma exam and must meet the minimum requirement of marks. Students from all over India can apply.
2. Government Quota: Should be passed in the diploma exam and must meet the minimum requirement of marks. Students only from Tamil Nadu can apply.

The college provides scholarships on the following basis:

1. Merit: For students who have attained 55% to 60% they have to give 30K for the tuition fees. Likewise, 20K for 60% to 65%, 10K for 65% to 70% and free tuition fees for the students who have achieved above 70%.
2. Sports Quota: Scholarships are available for the students who are in National, State, Divisional, and District level participation. For the sports quota, the college provides tuition fee concessions and free food & accommodations.

Note: The College also provides a loan facility from the banks in case any applicant needs it.
