The Placement and Training Cell maintains professional relationships with companies from various sectors to create employment opportunities for the students. It invites the companies to conduct campus placements. Skill development programs are organised to enhance the technical skills of the students.

SSCET Salem has an eco-friendly campus which provides a calm surrounding. The college campus is Wi-Fi enabled to support e-learning in the digital classrooms. Apart from this, the College has these facilities:

• Library: SSCET’s library has a collection of over 23,000 volumes of books, 200 project reports, and 300 back volumes. It contains several reference books, previous year question papers, newspapers, and magazines. The digital library is equipped with a number of computer systems connected with LAN to provide access to various e-books and e-journals. Moreover, the library has a reading hall and provides photocopying services and scanning & printing facilities.
• Laboratories: Each department has separate, fully-equipped laboratories to conduct experiments. It imparts practical training and conceptual understanding to the students. The labs includes:

• Hostel: Safe and secure accommodation is available for both male and female students separately. The rooms are well-furnished and contain all the basic amenities. Library, computer room, indoor sports facilities, mess facilities, laundry facilities, and common rooms are available in the hostel.
• Canteen: A canteen space with comfortable seating arrangement is available on-campus. It has been remodeled and made into a multi vendor food court to provide a variety of food options to the students at affordable prices.
• Sports: 10 acres of open ground is available for organising outdoor activities like cricket, football, volleyball, basketball, lawn tennis, etc. Along with this, indoor games facilities for badminton, table tennis, chess, and carrom are provided to the students within the campus. A fully equipped multi-gym is also available to the students.
• Transportation Facilities: The College operates buses to provide transportation services to the students. Students can contact the Transport Department of the college for availing this facility.
• Additional Facilities: Seminar Halls, Auditorium, Yoga Centre, etc.
