Sri Shakthi Institute of Engineering and Technology [SIET], Coimbatore was established in the year 2006 as a Private (Autonomous) Educational Institution. SIET Coimbatore is approved by AICTE and UGC, accredited by NBA and NAAC-A, and is affiliated with Anna University, Chennai. Sri Shakthi Institute of Engineering and Technology was established in 2006 and is situated in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu to impart technical education and skills. SIET is approved by AICTE, accredited by NBA & NAAC with “A” grade, and affiliated to Anna University, Chennai. The institute got the Autonomous status from UGC. This is the first and only institute in India to launch its own satellite.
