In the year 2010, the UGC approved GLA University and it is also a NAAC accredited institution which was established in Mathura. The University is also approved by AICTE. It is accredited by AIU, NCTE, BCI, and PCI.
The University envisions excelling in academics that focus on research, development, and education in emerging and establishing professions. It also wants to provide young learners with professional education, conduct credible research, and give guidance on present as well as emerging socio-economic requirements. Admission for all courses (except Ph.D) at GLA University is done based on an online entrance test GLAET conducted by the University. Applicants must meet the predefined eligibility criteria set by the University for each Course. They can register for this test either from online or offline mode. An application fee has to be paid by them during the test registration which can be done by online or offline methods. To move forward in the admission process, applicants have to make an appointment with the Admission Counsellor and go to the campus. Counsellors will provide them with a tour and other details of admission along with resolving their queries.
To register for the GLAET examination online, applicants have to open the website and go to the “Admission” menu from where they must select the “Admission Process” option. This will take them to a webpage where links are provided in front of each section. They must tap on the “Click Here” link to open particular pages. After clicking on the “Click Here” link for GLAET registration, applicants will be directed to the Form page. Fill up the form with details as mentioned in the 10th class and tap on the “Apply Now” tab. They will receive their credential on the provided contact number.
Applicants taking admission to B.Pharm, M.Pharm, and MBA courses must appear for Personal Interview after clearing the GLAET examination. Qualified applicants can submit the token amount to book their seat either online through login to the admission portal or deposit it in cash at the campus.

GLA University boasts of a well-equipped Central Library that is the information hub and source of knowledge. The library supports learning, teaching, and research activities. It treasures the information sources in print and digital format. Currently, there are approximately 1,70,000 books, more than 95 journals/ magazines of national and international repute and CD-ROMs over 4500. Besides print, e-journals are also available through INDEST-AICTE and ASME. The library of GLA is a member of DELNET that connects more than 500 libraries throughout the country. It is also a member of the National Digital library. The services and operations of the library are computerized and the specialized software KOHA is available that manages the entire task.The circulation system is fully computerized, and it is barcode-based. KOHA facilitates issuing and returning the resources that are stocked in the library.
Admission is made by the score obtained in the entrance exam conducted by the University. Candidates willing to take admission in any program have to appear in GLACT. GLA University follows strict attendance criteria, and no relaxation is given on it. The minimum attendance required to appear in the semester examination is 75%. Candidates failing to meet the mentioned criteria are not allowed to appear in the examination.
