The eligibility criteria are also different to be eligible to pursue the degree courses at this college. To pursue BE degree courses, students should have passed 10+2 board exams with 50% for the general category, 45% for backward class, and 40% for MBC/SC/ST/DNC.

RVSCET has a central placement cell that is responsible for dealing with the skills and employability of students. The cell enhances and transforms students into professionals by developing managerial skills. The placement cell is helped by the staff members so that they can together help students in achieving job offers. The faculty members also give counselling and training so that students can develop decision-making abilities. The training, interactive sessions, and seminars contribute to the overall growth of the students. During the first and second years, students are taught communication and aptitude training. This helps in improving grammar skills, logical, and reasoning skills. During the 3rd and 4th years, students are made familiar with the domain-specific training and placement process.
The placement data for 2019-2020 says that around 85 students were placed. These students got job offers from Banyan InfoTech, Sutherland, Hindustan Foods Ltd, and J.B. Fire. The education industries, like Nice Education and Extra Marks Education, have also shown their confidence in picking students. Religare Health Insurance and SPAN Technology also gave job offers to RVS students. Library: The College has a library that has around 25K books and more than 100 international journals. As many as 70+ magazines are also a part of the library. The place is equipped with the latest information and also has memberships with the British and American councils.
Physical Education: Around 7 acres of land is given for outdoor play and sports. There are many courts for girls and boys. There is also an indoor stadium where students can play badminton, BB, and other games like TT and chess.
Hostels: The campus has a separate hostel building to accommodate students. The hostel has tight security with cameras in its surroundings. There is a furnished kitchen, a recreational area, and an internet facility. The food is very hygienic and healthy, and tasty.
Committees: The College has a career guidance cell along with a grievance cell to help students. It has an anti-ragging committee, a cultural club, an alumni association, and a research cell.
Medical Centre: The students and everyone on the campus can use the medical facilities if they need them. For a medical emergency, doctors are present, along with the ambulance service.
