National College of Pharmacy Kozhikode

The Placement Cell at the National College of Pharmacy prioritizes facilitating placement opportunities to the students and bridges the gap between the talent and organisation in order to attain the same. The Cell works dedicatedly to guide the candidates in making a successful career in the desired stream & elevate their professional development.

Various activities & events are conducted by the Placement Cell to boost the holistic development of the students. The activities are:

• Resume Building Activities
• Mock Interview Sessions
• Career Counselling & Guidance

In addition to the above, the cell organises campus placement events & recruitment drives to facilitate employment opportunities for the students.

Previously, the students were placed in different companies including Medsite Pharma, Matrix Pharmacy, Tree Health Care, KMCT, Kerala Health Mart, Aster DM Healthcare, Baby Memorial Hospital, Almas Hospital, etc.

The National College of Pharmacy campus is located in the green vicinity of Kozhikode. The Wi-Fi-enabled college offers state-of-the-art facilities to the students which are essential for their holistic growth. Equipment such as LCD projectors, Wi-Fi, and LAN facilities in the classrooms. The college is equipped with CCTVs to offer round-the-clock security facilities to the students on the campus.

The facilities available at the college are listed below:

• Library: The library at the college is connected to the Internet & has a carpet area of approximately 1668.41 sq. ft. It is well-equipped with different kinds of study materials in physical & electronic formats like journals, periodicals, books, magazines for the students to support their learning and research.. The library has a separate reading room. Other facilities include CCTV surveillance for safety purposes, reprographic facility, computer terminals to access the digital library, etc.
• Laboratories: The fully-fledged computer lab present in the campus is equipped with a sufficient number of computer systems equipped with the latest software & are connected to the Internet. Students can utilise the projector installed in the lab to conduct sessions. Moreover, there are many laboratories that have up-to-date equipment & tools to provide hands-on practical learning to the students.
• Auditorium: The auditorium at the college is equipped with advanced systems for organising lectures, workshops, and cultural programs. It can accommodate around 500 students.
• Seminar Hall: The college has a dedicated seminar hall that is well-ventilated & has a seating capacity of nearly 200 students. It is used for conducting seminars, debates, quizzes, poster presentations, and model presentation competitions.
• Canteen: There are several multicuisine canteens present in the campus that serve tasty meals to the students & the staff.
• Hostel: The hostel is located within the campus premise with all essential facilities required for pharmacy students. The college offers a separate hostel facility to the students that are guarded by security officers to offer a secure & safe stay to the hostel residents.
• Sports: Indoor sports facilities available for the students in the Sports Complex of the College. It also promotes regular participation in sports events and competitions to help the students stay active and build team spirit. The college offers both outdoor games facilities to the students, including Badminton, Cricket, Basketball, Kabaddi, Badminton, Throwball, and Volleyball. Additionally, there is an open gymnasium in the campus.
• Transport: The college offers transport facilities to the students coming from rural and urban areas of the district. The students are offered safe transportation facilities for daily commuting & during extracurricular activities.
• Other Facilities: Gymnasium, Cafeteria, Yoga Centre, Herbal Garden, Canteen, Bank, ATM, Medical, etc.
