IIFT Delhi Placements: Average & Highest Package 2024

The college unfortunately has lost some of its charm in last few years. The placements were benefitting 8-10 years back and aren’t so good as they used to be. Yes, people walked away with a package of 30 lakhs and then there were few who didn’t even had any placements. Nestle wanted some students for their trade policies in various countries. Naturally, it became one of the biggest contributors during our batch. SCI was new name added as college has mailed them to hire students of IIFT and they obliged by taking 40 odd students from our class. So, placements again has the highest of highs and lowest of lows for students who couldn’t get placed through campus. FMCG sector has always been the hot favorite of IIFT. I saw the placements of my seniors as well and even they got placed with top MNCs FMCG companies that operate in India and we too had the same kind of opportunity. Placements were such that even IIM students will have a scare on why did they joined IIM when IIFT can provide similar or rather international placements. Greed doesn’t have a synonym but in terms of placement one can be greedy at IIFT as one offer letter is like we have underperformed. The students who got placed had multiple offer letters. If I have to mention one negative than that would be that college didn’t has 100% placements.Read Full Review

The placement percentage is a little low at IIFT but the quality of placements are at par with IIMs. Even from a single batch of IIM, I don’t think over 10% of students get international placements. At IIFT though the ratio of international placement is the highest in the country. However, Dubai is the favored destination but even if one works in Kathmandu, they can say we are working abroad. I mentioned Kathmandu as Dabur Nepal hired a lot of students from our batch. The figures from our batch have increased so no point discussing the 5 years old figures because it has only been bettered.Read Full Review
