The college offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Arts and Science under various departments of English, History, Economics, Malayalam, Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, Mathematics, etc. The college also offers courses like B.Com, BBA, B.Voc and Mass Communication & Journalism under self financing programs and runs a Research Department for Doctorate courses.
The college carries out admissions under management, community and sports quota through University of Calicut Centralized Admission Process (CAP) in UG/PG courses. The Career Guidance and Placement Cell of the college works as a link between academics and the industry, where students are given proper guidance and resources which help them to make suitable career choices. This cell supports the skilling of students that builds their chances of getting employment right after college. The college organises various seminars, workshops, trainings, guest lectures, and recruitment drives where designated personnel are invited to the college to conduct interviews and other activities, this encourages the students to be strategically prepared for the market requirements. The college also seeks to nurture the talents with the help of Additional Skill Acquisition Program (ASAP) and also for non academic fields to offer support in the terms of career prospects.
The college is located in the centre of the city and spread across 3.55 acres with sufficient space for students to carry out their academic pursuits. The college also has a separate growth facility program with a women's cell working solely for them.
