The Placement cell of the institute trains the cadets in two parts that are Technical and Non-Technical. During the Technical Training the cell organises mock interviews to assess cadets’ technical knowledge and an analysis report is shared with them so they can know where they can improve. The cadets are also briefed about the placement drive and how it works and they are given a chance to take a 4G welding course that helps them enhance their placement prospects.
The cadets are given an opportunity to enhance their skills and learn new ones in order to land their dream job during the Non-technical Training. It develops their Professional Capabilities, Executive Education, and Multidisciplinary Skills.
After completing B.Tech (Marine Engineering), the cadets need to do an Onboard Training of a Minimum of 6 Months and the cadets who have completed B.Sc. (Nautical Science) need to do an onboard Training of 12 Months.
