It is the second best college in Kerala under APJ KTU University. It is one of the oldest Engineering Colleges in Kerala. It is on top 200-300 NIRF ranking. The college has a very vast campus. I have chosen Electrical and Electronics Engineering at GEC, Thrissur. It is the second top college that comes under KTU. I chose this college because of its placements and programmes. The main reason I chose to enroll in this college is because it’s a government college as one of the 8 government colleges in Kerala. The fees you have to pay here to complete your course are negligible. The cheap cost is the major reason I chose this college. If you have enough rank in KEAM exam, you can study here. The courses offered are outdated (every Indian college’s are). The lab equipments are not very well maintained. The faculty members are good and teachers have a good grasp of respective subjects. The placement is also good. Students have high freedom. The campus is open 24×7. I would recommend someone to choose this college.Read Full Review
