We do have placement cell in our college. They do help students to acquire jobs. But, they don't provide high paying jobs or jobs from well-known firms. The average package is around 3 to 4 lakhs. The placement cell consists of some non teaching faculties along with the vice principal and some other members. The placement scenario of the college is descent and can be considered as average with respect to other colleges in Mumbai. The highest package offered in the campus last year was 9 lakh per annum and the average of all departments is around 3 lakhs annually. The cell works round the year efficiently to liaison with many major corporate organizations. They facilitate training and live projects for the students. They also ensure industry exposure to the students from time to time by organizing meet ups and lectures by some of the top corporate leader in the IT sector. They invite trainers to up skill the soft skills of the students by arranging one to two month training for them. The cell makes efforts to make the students perform better in the recruitment drives held in the campus. They also give help to students who are looking for off campus opportunities and also for studying for higher studies in India and abroad.Read Full Review

Honestly speaking, Mechanical Engineering has descent placement opportunities. But compare to Computer Engineering or Civil Engineering it is less. But if you are deserving and hardworking students then you can get a good placement in Mechanical Engineering too. It totally depends on your efforts.Read Full Review
