DMCE has Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, Information Technology, Electronics and Telecommunication, Civil Infra and Chemical Engineering. Curriculum is of Mumbai University. Admission are done through CET and JEE marks and also through Management Quota. Eligibility changes every year and is different for each branch (cut off). Talking about the academics, the curriculum is set by the Mumbai University and not the college itself. There are two small tests that are conducted between the semester examinations. All the papers are made and checked by the professors or invigilators of Mumbai University. But the term work marks, practical marks and the oral marks are all given by the professors of the college themselves. The cut off for the college's main department, the computer science department is not much high. You can take admission in Datta Meghe College of Engineering through the marks obtained in the MHT CET and the JEE Mains examinations. In MHT CET the cut off are near 90 percentile for CSE. There are new branches that are introduced in our college as they are very much in demand in the recent times. They are Artificial Intelligence and Data Science and Machine Learning. They are started in 2020 so none of their batch is graduated yet. The college is very well reputed in the Airoli - Thane region and I had exceeded their cutoff, thus I took admission here. As I am studying Mechanical Engineering in this college, I will share the eligibility and requirements for this course. So, to join the Mechanical Engineering course you will have two options; first is after the completion of 12th and the other is by completing the diploma. The cutoff for MHT CET is around 80 percentile for anyone to get a seat in this college. But honestly speaking if you want to join this college then opt for Civil Engineering as it is the best course in this college.Read Full Review
