The Training & Placement Office at Poornima University put efforts into enhancing the professional skills among students and providing them with better employment opportunities. With an objective to place each student, the University offers well-established quality training and placements. To accomplish this purpose, the Cell arranges training on soft and aptitude skills along with industrial visits and motivational sessions. Students get proper information, guidance, and support from the Cell to enhance their confidence and personality. The campus has well-furnished conference training rooms, counselling rooms, and interview rooms.

Summer Internships are organised for students with the purpose of making them learn new technologies and concepts of certain industries. Engineering students of the University get a chance to undergo an internship training period of around 4-6 weeks at several companies.

The Training and Certificate Program of the University motivates students to broaden their perspectives by undergoing industrial training. These programs increase the Employability Skills of students by implementing structured and systematic methods with appropriate mentorship during the whole process. Certification Programs include training activities like leadership, communication, computer, time management, interpersonal skills, and sales.

The Career Counselling Cell provides proper guidance, mentorship, and counselling to students for their professional careers. The key objective of the Cell is to generate awareness amongst scholars about various career opportunities in different sectors. Students are also advised and suggested about the methods through which they can prepare for their chosen careers. It also assists them in resolving their educational, personal, and psychological issues.

Companies that visit the campus for the recruitment process are Zee Studios, Amazon, Shemaroo Entertainment Limited, Infosys, Capgemini, Tata Consultancy Services, Deloitte, IBM, Shriram Finance, AU Small Finance Bank Limited, ICICI Bank, Wipro, Bajaj Auto Finance Ltd., HDFC Bank, Airtel, Axis Bank, Hyundai Motor Company, Mahindra Home Finance, SBI Life Insurance, and many others.

Students at Poornima University can experience a comprehensive and excellent range of amenities on campus that provide them with a positive learning space where they can acquire new skills and knowledge. The campus is spread over an area of around 32 acres that provides a secure and warm environment to students with professional opportunities to bring out the best potential in them to face the challenges of the outside world effectively. To help students in their academic and personal growth, the University provides the following Infrastructure and Facilities within the campus:  

• Classrooms: The ICT-enabled classrooms of the University are equipped with LAN, Wi-Fi connectivity, projectors, and other facilities to ensure an engaging teaching-learning environment for students. The utilization of online quizzes, e-books, tutorials, educational videos, and other resources assists in the personality development of students.
• Computer Labs: Students can complete their digital work on the computers installed with latest software versions and internet connectivity. The campus provides around 1000 computer systems in labs that serve the daily computing requirements of students.
• E-Learning Rooms: To support students in their learning procedure, the campus has E-Learning rooms. The University has adopted the usage of state-of-art technological modernization to ensure that students realise their actual potential and achieve academic excellence.
• Seminar Rooms & Theatre: To conduct cultural events, guest lectures, regular interfaces, presentations, conferences, and other academic events, the campus has seminar rooms and a theatre. Facilities provided in these rooms support teaching and learning procedures.
• Hostel: The University consists of well-furnished separate accommodation buildings for girl and boy students. Each Room of the hostels is furnished with a table, a storage unit, a chair, a bed, and an attached washroom. Students can choose AC and Non-AC rooms which are available with internet connectivity as per their convenience. Mess service is also accessible in the Hostels where students can have good quality and healthy food. Spacious reading rooms in the hostels are provided with comfortable reading spaces where students can read magazines and newspapers.  
• Cafeteria: The campus has around 7 cafeterias that serve students a wide range of vegetarian and non-vegetarian food items, snacks, fruit juices, ice creams, and others at reasonable amounts. The comfortable and spacious seating areas in cafeterias provide students with a space to relax.
• Gymnasium: Hostellers can perform workouts and exercises in the fitness centre available separately for both boys and girls. Fitness centres have machines like suspension trainers, stretching machines, cross trainers, stationary bikes, and other equipment.
• Transport: The University has approximately 30+ buses and some four-wheeler vehicles to provide students with transportation services at subsidised charges. All the vehicles have CCTV installed, an attendant, a GPS, and speed governors to provide students with a safe ride.
• Students Amenity Centre: The Mini market amenity provided within the campus facilitates students to meet their daily basic requirements. The market has a photocopy shop, stationery shop, snacks shop, etc.
• Medical Facility: To facilitate students with medical amenities, the University has built a health clinic. Basic medical facilities are provided within this clinic to ensure that proper care has been given to students during health checks.
