Institute of Information Technology and Management [IITM Janakpuri] was established in the year 1999 as a Private Educational Institution. IITM Janakpuri is approved by AICTE and UGC, accredited by NBA and NAAC-A, and is affiliated with GGSIPU, New Delhi. Under the umbrella of Mata Leelawati Shikshan Sansthan Institute of Information Technology and Management was founded in the year 1999. The institute is recognised by NAAC, NBA, and UGC as well as approved by AICTE and affiliated with Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University.
Courses offered by the institute are MBA, MCA, BCA, BBA, and B.Com. (Hons.).

Candidates are required to appear for National Level Test / CET to get qualified for the Admission. This test is solely conducted by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. While filling out the University Application Form Candidates must provide a valid Registration number/application number for the National Level Test / CET. Candidates qualifying for the above-mentioned test will be considered for the admission process and have to appear for University Counselling. During this counselling, Candidates can select their appropriate College / Institute.

Scholarship programs of the institute include Pre-Admission Merit Scholarships and In-House Merit Scholarships. The Pre-Admission Merit Scholarship will be offered to the students only one time based on academic merit. Candidates who are eligible for this scholarship will be informed by the college regarding their interview before the beginning of the last preference filling of GGSIPU.
