Now, academically speaking that it is an IIIT so of course it will be a little hectic in terms of academics but many people learn how to balance their academics and extracurricular activities alongside which turns out to be great. Course curriculum in IIIT Allahabad is quite tough. It will be very difficult to maintain a good CGPA. Main drawback of this kind of strict curriculum is you will be left with no time for coding. Managing time for coding and academics is the main challenge. But studying subjects like OOPS (Object Oriented Programming); DBMS (Database Management), CN (Computer Networks), OS (Operating System), DSA (Data Structures and Algorithms) will help you prepare for placement as well because questions from these subjects are asked in your interviews. You can get admission in IIIT Allahabad based on the cutoff given by NTA. This varies every year.
