Sikkim College of Nursing is a constituent college of Sikkim Manipal University. Nestled in Gangtok, the college was established in 2001. The college offers two courses. Most of the students after their final year are placed in the Central Referral Hospital in Sikkim. The nursing college is nestled at 5th Mile at Tadong in Gangtok. The facilities provided to the students in this college include classrooms, labs, library, medical and sports facilities. Students are provided education in ICT-enabled smart classrooms. The library is big. There are over 19000 books, national and international journals, magazines and publications. There is also a 500-bedded hospital that provides students with emergency medical facilities as well as practical experience to develop clinical related skills. The college provides hostels for undergraduate students with mess facilities. Three students share a hostel room. The hostel fees are to be paid every year. Students need to pay the utility, mess and the hostel facility fees every month.
