The School of Nursing Ruby General Hospital College was started in the year 2009 by the Chairman and Managing Director of Ruby General Hospital, Kamal K Dutta. Ruby General Hospital is one of the oldest private hospitals in Eastern India. The School of Nursing Ruby General Hospital College is recognised by the Indian Nursing Council (NCI), West Bengal Nursing Council (WBNC), and The West Bengal University of Health Sciences (WBUHS). The college offers a B.Sc program in Nursing at the UG level and a Diploma program in General Nursing & Midwifery.

Students who are willing to pursue B.Sc in Nursing or a Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery at the School of Nursing Ruby General Hospital College have to meet certain eligibility requirements, and they are as follows:

*Candidates belonging to the SC / ST / OBC-A / OBC-B / PwD categories will get a relaxation of 5% marks in the minimum eligibility requirements. In this case, the least qualifying marks will be 40%.

Admission Process

Students who are seeking admission to the Diploma program in General Nursing & Midwifery at School of Nursing Ruby General Hospital College have to qualify for the ANM(R) & GNM examination conducted by WBJEEB. Upon clearing the entrance exam, students will have to register for the counselling process. The counselling is done in 3 rounds. Please follow the steps mentioned below for successful registration of ANM(R) & GNM counselling:

• Click on Registration & Choice Filling for ANM & GNM Counselling
• Sign in using details like Roll No., Password, & Security Pin
• After signing in, provide necessary personal details, academic details, bank account details, address, etc.
• Pay the registration fee
• Now candidates can view all the choice of colleges, and it must be selected as per their preference
• Lock the choices within the pre-announced date

After locking the choices, the counselling rounds will begin on the notified date. The counselling authority will release a merit list. Candidates must login to check their allotment and pay the seat acceptance fee. Further, they will be provided with a Unique Allotment ID. Candidates must report to the allotted college carrying original and self-attested copies of documents, and pay the admission fees. After this process the admission will be finalised.
