    IIT Bhubaneswar: Hostels, Campus Facilities, and Student Life
    I am a Civil Engineering student. I chose this course in this campus rather than Mechanical because I like this branch. Eligibility is to qualify JEE Main first and then you will be shortlisted for JEE Advanced, which is the second toughest exam. Then, you have to crack that exam. Once you cracked then you have take part in JoSAA counseling to complete your admission process. Two exams are held in a semester.

    Faculty and Learning Environment at IIT Bhubaneswar
    I have chosen Electrical Engineering in this institute, which is 2nd top in placements way and this branch is small compared to other branches present in this institute. I love Electrical circuits because in my preparation of JEE I did most of the time electrical circuit concepts very well so I chose this. For entry to institute, we need to write JEE Advanced exam in B.Tech. For other courses JAM and GATE are required. Every year, we have 2 semesters and in each semester we have mid semester and end semester exams. In between, these two we have class tests are conducted by respective course professors.
    For all B.Tech course, fee is same. While joining, we have to pay Rs. 1,47,390 and from next semester onwards, we have to pay Rs. 1,37,390. Scheduled Tribe and Scheduled Caste members need to pay only hostel fee as they get remission in tuition fee. For students with family income less 5 LPA, they need to pay one third of tuition fee that is Rs. 1,00,000.Read Full Review

    IIT Bhubaneswar's Academic and Campus Life
    There are two exams in each semester that is mid-sem and end-sem examination. The course is chosen by most students compromising because of low eligibility. It is very hard to score well in examinations here, as the completion is very high here.
    Tuition fee is about 1 Lakh per semester and hostel fee is about Rs. 20,000 per semester.Read Full Review
