IIT Bhubaneswar Faculty Profile

The faculty in Physics department is really knowledgeable. They ensure that you understand the concepts and provide adequate knowledge to research and excel well in the field. We have quite a lot of teachers teaching the particular course and all of them are quite competent and well equipped with enormous knowledge. Most of the faculties are IIT graduates and all of them are Ph.D degree holders. Faculties here are from across India and they are very friendly and supportive and continuously work towards betterment of students, guide them well to excel in their careers. The method of teaching is varied, a few of the teachers use blackboard, which I find very approachable, few of the teachers use white or digital boards which may cause some eye strain at times. A few teachers also use PPT's to communicate their ideas and objectives. The faculties pick up the method depending on the concept and the demography of class. The faculties encourage doubts, they will be happy to clear doubts and the TA (Teaching Assistants) are highly instrumental solving our problems and very open to questions. The teacher-student ratio is quite satisfactory and ensures to meet all demands of students in terms teaching and subject matter. The teacher ensures he is available to solve and assist all queries of students and suffice them with good content matter. The faculty members are really humble and supportive, they encourage doubts and solve them efficiently. If there are any interested and studious students they ensure that they convey their point and are really willing to help and teach well. Professor of ECE are experienced in their respective fields. Many of them have their own start-ups related to semiconductor things. Professors are skilled in teaching. Their way of teaching is interactive and acquires an active participation of the students. There are separate professors for labs and theory. They are mainly from IIT and NITS. Professors also help in research. They give opportunities to M.Tech people to be a technical assistant in labs and have experience accordingly.Read Full Review

The facilities are quite good and well qualified, I don't need to explain more about it since it is an IIT and IITs are known for their quality of education. All the facilities are of top-notch quality. There are faculties whom you can approach for any queries and the also listen to queries with patience.Read Full Review
