The SGL College of Nursing has all types of essential infrastructure and facilities to nurture the students’ overall development. From hostels to library and reading room, the students get a holistic educational experience at the college:

• Library: The thoroughly stocked library is one of the major perks of the college. There are reference books, journals and e-resources that can be easily accessed by the students. Latest issues of magazines on current affairs are also available at the library. The reading area is well-equipped to accommodate a significant number of students at a time. There are audio visual aids too to help with in-depth understanding of the different subjects.
• Excursion and co-curricular activities: Often the students organise and go for excursions under the supervision of their teachers. These trips are cultural, recreational as well as educational. The students are often taken to major medical institutions to get first hand knowledge and view of different nursing procedures. Various events like debate, chart making, rangoli, and one act plays are also organised.
• Laboratories: The college has laboratories with latest and state-of-the-art equipment for different subjects. There are experienced laboratory assistants who supervise the students during regular as well as practice sessions. There is a nutrition lab, demonstration lab, anatomy lab, community health lab, microbiology lab and computer lab.
• Hostel: The college has a well-furnished hostel for the girls with all types of basic amenities possible. Basic facilities like round the clock water supply, electricity and internet connection is available. There are mostly triple sharing rooms.
