Nirmala College of Nursing Calicut

The college has collaborated with several clinics, industries and hospitals which altogether completes the nursing training. Some of the organizations where the students are taken for training and field trips include Water Treatment Plant, Koolimadu, Meitra Hospital, Women’s and Children’s Hospital, Amala Institute of Medical Sciences, Ashakiran, Medical College, and many more.

The Nirmala College of Nursing, Calicut has all kinds of basic infrastructure and facilities that are elemental for providing nursing education. The college has the latest instruments and amenities which altogether make sure the students get a healthy environment that nurtures their academic ambitions.

The facilities provided to the students are as follows:

• Library: The college library has all kinds of resources necessary for nursing education. It has around 4158 books, subscriptions to over 29 journals, and approximately 2456 titles. There is a spacious reading area which facilitates a healthy ambiance for in-depth study. Students can borrow the books and access e-resources at the college library as required.
• Laboratories: There are different laboratories present in the college to ensure thorough nursing training for all the students. State-of-the-art instruments, gadgets, charts, lab layout, etc. are available for all the laboratories. Pre-clinical, MCH, community health, nutrition, and anatomy are some of the laboratory facilities offered to the nursing students.
• Seminar Hall: The seminar hall is thoroughly equipped with the audio-visual technology such as LCD projectors, mics, speakers, etc to conduct events such as staff meetings and conferences. Requisite seating arrangement & a stage are present in the hall to make it suitable for all programs.
