Mamata College of Nursing

The Mamata College of Nursing has a separate building that is spread across 20,000 sq.ft. land and provides a competent educational experience to the students. The lecture halls of the college are air-conditioned and are equipped with audio and visual sound teaching-learning aids along with LCD projection facilities.

Given below are the key features of the college:

• Laboratory: Students are provided with requisite shared laboratory facilities to perform experiments and gain practical training related to nursing programs. The labs have demo rooms and a forensic lab which is used for medico-legal cases. In addition, it is equipped with a stainless workstation.
• Auditorium: The college has a shared centrally air-conditioned auditorium that is equipped with an audio system & LCD projection facilities. It can accommodate around 1000 students. Events like conferences, cultural activities, case presentations, etc. are conducted in the auditorium.
• Seminar Hall: The college has an air-conditioned seminar hall which is utilised to organise guest lectures, events, and college-level seminars.
• Canteen: The food court of the college is air-conditioned & has a large dining hall. Here students are served hygienically prepared North Indian and South Indian dishes.
• Hostel: Separate residential facilities are provided by the college to the girls and boys. Hostellers are provided with both air-conditioned & non-air-conditioned, fully furnished rooms with attached toilets. There is a mess in the hostel that serves nutritious & hygienic food to the students. The hostel residents are provided with requisite amenities like a canteen, thrift shop, round-the-clock security, TV rooms, and indoor gym facilities, etc.
• Sports: The health club of the college encourages the students to take part in tournaments and competitions that are held at different levels to motivate them to maintain their physical fitness. The outdoor sports infrastructure includes courts for throwball, tennis, volleyball, badminton, and cricket. Indoor games facilities include carrom, chess, and table tennis. The college has a dedicated air-conditioned separate Gymnasium & Fitness Centre for the male & female students.
• Transportation: The college provides transportation facilities to students for daily commuting, fieldwork, and healthcare services. There are around 3 air-conditioned buses and other modes of transport provided by the college.
