Bhojia Dental College and Hospital is a good option for studying and making a career in the Medfield of dental. The college came into existence in the year 1997, in the beautiful district of Solan, Himachal Pradesh. This dental college is the only college in the state which is affiliated with Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla, and is recognized by UGC and DCI, and accredited with NAAC. This dental college provides

1. Undergrad courses like BDS (Bachelor in Dental Surgery), are approved by the Dental Council of India and there are a total of 60 seats available for BDS.
2. Postgrad courses like MDS (Masters in Dental Surgery) in Prosthodontics, Conservative Dentistry, Endodontics, Orthodontics, Periodontology, Paedodontics, Oral Pathology, and Microbiology.
3. Diploma courses like Diploma in Dental Hygienist and Diploma in Dental Mechanic. There are around 10 seats for each stream to pursue the course.

College takes admission of students on the basis of their 10+2 examinations as well as the entrance eligibility exam known as NEET. The applicants can visit the college’s website for the admission procedure and then they have to visit the campus for completing the admission formalities by filling out the admission form and submitting the application fee and course fee.

Qualification requirements for admissions in the below mentioned streams:

1. Undergrad Course (BDS)
   1. The applicant must have passed class XII with a minimum of 50% for the general category and 40% for the reserved category.
   2. The applicant must have compulsory subjects in class XII such as Biology, Physics, and Chemistry.
   3. The applicant must have cleared NEET with a valid score.
2. Postgrad Course (MDS)
   1. The candidate must have cleared the NEET examination in the same year of admission with a valid score.
   2. The student must have completed their bachelor's dental degree from any government or private college in Himachal Pradesh that is recognized by DCI.
   3. 50% of the total seats are available for the Management Quota candidates.
3. Diploma
   1. The applicant must have passed class XII from the H.P. board of examination with a minimum of 40% for the general category and 35% for the reserved category.
   2. The applicant must have compulsory subjects in class XII such as Biology, Physics, and Chemistry.
   3. The applicant must have English as a voluntary subject in the above examinations.

Bhojia Dental College provides government and non-government scholarships under the National Scholarship, Prime Minister’s Special Scholarship Scheme, and some other scholarships. Some scholarships can only be availed for 1st year and only one scholarship per student is available.
