IIT Jodhpur B.Tech Fees Structure 2025 & Admission Process

I personally didn't know much about Civil Engineering but according to my rank in JEE this was the best I can get. Entry requirement of the institute is that you have to secure good rank in JEE Advance to get into this institute. Admission process is simple, after counselling from JOSAA I got admission letter and had to do verifications of documents and other formalities. Right now we have two exams per semester and other quizzes and test.

Year wise fees of the course I have chosen is about Rs. 3,00,000 per year at IIT, Jodhpur, including tuition fees, mess charges and hostel fees combined. I have chosen B.Tech in material engineering at Indian Institute of Technology. The motive to select this course is that it has a very bright future with many job opportunities. The only criterion to enter in the Institute is to clear the exam JEE ADVANCED and enters the Institute of dreams. After clearing the JEE advanced exam, students have to fill their choice preference list of Institutes on JOSAA website and after that you are allotted an Institute. Later you have to wait for Institute to send you further instructions. The Institute sends all the information what is further processed and when the students have to go to Institute and do the further process. IIT jodhpur follows continuous evaluation policy where the quizzes and exams go throughout the semester. A Semester is of 4 months and minor exam is conducted in between and major exam is conducted in the end and in between the quizzes other things are always going on.

The total semester fee is approximately Rs. 1,50,000 in Indian Institute of Technology. The tuition fees is Rs. 1,00,000 and hostel fee is approximately Rs. 30,000. The mess fee is approximately Rs. 20,000 for general category students. The students have to pay Rs. 35,000 as an admission fee in the start. The professors at Indian Institute of Technology, Jodhpur are good here but mostly students prefer to study from books and the notes provided by them. Surrounded by very brilliant students came after clearing the JEE Advanced exam is a pro in our institute because the environment is so competitive we feel to study hard to beat them. We have some quizzes depended on the course, one minor exam and one major exam giving us the opportunity to develop some extra skills in our free time.

Total fees for 6 months (one semester) B.Tech is Rs. 1,50,000 something. Rs. 1,00,000 is the fee for academics and Rs. 27,000 for hostel and Rs. 19,000 for the mess. If you are from general category with less than 5 lakh annual income you will get fee waiver of 66% in academic. If you are from SC or ST you will get full waiver of Rs. 1,00,000 academic fees.Read Full Review
