MAHE offers 10 hostels for boys and 15 hostels for girls on campus for students pursuing various programs. All the hostels are located closely and are within a walking distance from the campus. Kasturba Medical College being a part of MAHE provides its students' accommodation facilities in the same hostels. The hostels for dental, medical, and paramedical courses are situated on the Health Science campus. The hostels are managed by the Hostels Management Committee.
The hostels are as follows,
Boys’ Hostels (1635 rooms): Rabindranath Tagore, Nehru A, B, C Blocks, Charaka, CV Raman, Amartya Sen, New International ‘B’, WGSHA – Boys and NBQ.
Girls’ Hostels (2718 rooms): New International ‘A’, ‘B’, ‘C’, Valley Flats, WGSHA – Girls, New S Chandrashekar, Kamaraj, Old S Chandrashekar, Sharada, Rajaji, Sonia, PG Block, Indira, Nehru Ladies, and New Sarojini.
Kasturba Medical College hostel rooms are spacious and available in a variety of options that students can choose from at their convenience. The rooms are available in the following choices: Single (AC), Single (Non-AC) with attached washroom, Double-sharing (AC), Single (Non-AC) with common bathroom and Double-sharing (Non-AC) with common washroom. The rooms are provided with necessary furniture such as a bed with storage, a table and chair, a cupboard, and a shelf.

Laundry services collect and deliver the clothes in the hostel.
Maintenance activities are outsourced and are closely looked upon by the management.
The Chief Wardens along with Wardens and other Hostel Staff manage the entire hostel and their day-to-day functioning.
Kasturba Medical College hostel food is provided by service providers ‘Chef-on-wheels’ and 'Spice n Chefs'. There are eight food outlets available. It is mandatory for hostellers to use the mess facility for the first two years. The hostels have well-equipped dining halls.
Kasturba Medical College hostel rules are strict.
The entrance of the hostels has security guards and corridors are equipped with CCTVs.
Initially, the 1st year undergrad students are allotted a room following a pattern then later they are provided a choice to switch through a waiting list.
It is mandatory for UG students to avail of the hostel facilities.
