JDT Islam College of Physiotherapy

The JDT Islam College of Physiotherapy has initiated a career and placement cell. It regularly organises workshops and training by industry professionals. It invites the industry expert to teach the students about practical knowledge in the market. It keeps students updated with the relevant and present trends and information. The college offers one of the best infrastructure and facilities in Calicut. As we know the infrastructure is different for physiotherapy, as it needs different laboratories and research departments. Hence, the college does not compromise on the facilities, it offers complete facilities which are necessary for the physiotherapy students. On campus, there are classrooms, a library, an exam hall, a computer lab, sports, and a dormitory. Clinical facilities include physiotherapy and rehabilitation centres, hospitals, clinics, and laboratories.

• Library: The college has a library with a large reading hall and a large collection of books. It has an overall 2000 resources including research papers, books, journals, and theses. It has also subscribed to national and international journals. It has multimedia, visual aids, and internet facilities.
• Examination hall: The college has a large examination hall, which conducts institute-level exams with adequate seating capacity. It has CCTV, a computer, and a reprographic machine. The hall is well-designed to accommodate a large number of students. The individual desks are ergonomic and comply with KUHS guidelines for the comfort of the students.
• Laboratories: The college has different laboratories which are required for physiotherapy education. It includes electrotherapy, physiology, anatomy, and computers.
• Sports: The college has a large sports ground of almost 38 feet which is used for indoor games such as chess, carom, table tennis, and volleyball. It also has a 10-feet area of storeroom which can store all essential elements. The college conducts various competitions and it has essential outdoor sports facilities.
• Hostel: The college has hostel facilities for both girls and boys. It offers a safe and convenient living environment. It has all the essential amenities. The hostel is located within the campus which makes it easy for the student to commute.
• Transport: The transportation facility is offered for students and staff which offers a convenient travelling experience. The drivers go through the training and license protocol. It makes sure that students are safe and reach on time.
