Farooqia College of Pharmacy in Mysore laid its foundation stone in 1980. Affiliated with Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences in Karnataka, the college operates under the Rifa-Hul Muslimeen Educational Trust. The courses are recognised by PCI (Pharmacy Council of India).
Vision: The pharmacy institute works towards becoming a top Pharmacy institute in imparting quality education and opportunities for research.

*OBC candidates from Karnataka have to score a minimum of 35% marks for admission in B.Pharm.
*D.Pharm students with 40% marks (35% for OBC candidates in Karnataka) can directly take admission in B.Pharm second year.

The college has a placement division that is responsible for providing the necessary training and carrying out the activities related to the placement process. During the campus interviews, many well-known pharmaceutical institutions have visited the college and recruited students in job roles like Product Executives, Medical Representatives and Production Chemists, to name a few.
The college is nestled in 0.5 acres of land in Tilak Nagar, Mysore. The facilities available include lab preparation room, machine room, central instrumentation room, separate store room for inflammable chemicals, library, auditorium, seminar hall, herbal garden, first aid room, museum, separate common room for boys and girls, drinking water facility, power backup, canteen, parking and transportation, stores, and bank extension counter. The college also has a computer room with the latest systems and printer and a multi - media projector.
