AECS Maruthi College of Nursing

Established in the year 2002, AECS Maruthi College of Nursing came into existence in the beautiful city of Bangalore. Academia work under the umbrella of Sri Bharathiya Vidyarthy Nilaya Education Society and Amrith Educational and Cultural Society. These societies are established in 1982 to empower the young generation in the competitive era. Both societies came into existence to provide excellent academic opportunities to urban and rural candidates especially to the girls belonging to a rural area.

Academia is approved by Indian Nursing Council as well as the Karnataka Nursing Council. The objective of the institute is to train each student to be a competent nurse. The institute strives to create first-level nurses so they can offer quality care to the community and hospitals contributing to the nation’s health care system. The institute has been permitted from the Govt. of Karnataka and affiliated to the Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Health Sciences.

The institute is equipped with a departmental library that has a good collection of nursing books, reference books and related journals. The Indian, as well as foreign journals, can be accessed through the Health Sciences Library and Information Center (Helinet). Students can also access audio-video material.

AECS offers nursing courses, and admission to these courses is made by merit of the marks scored in the entrance test.
