The pharmacy college registers students mainly for B. Pharmacy, M. Pharmacy, and a doctorate in pharmacy programs. All the three pharmacy courses offered by SCP have the recognition and approval of the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI). These courses have different admission procedure. The institution emphasizes on hands-on-training, assignments, personality development, and specialized coaching for GRE.

The B.Pharmacy course of Samskruti College of Pharmacy has a 4-year academic duration. To qualify for this undergraduate pharmacy course, the applicant should pass the AISSC/PUC/HISC/PDC/HSC/PDC (10+2) entrance exam. The candidate has to achieve at least 40% marks individually in chemistry, physics, and biology, botany and zoology or mathematics.
The aggregate marks in all the above subjects should be 50% minimum and achieving at least 40% in English is also compulsory. Those who’ve obtained D.Pharmacy certification, achieving 50% marks in both the years can apply via the lateral entry mode. Those applying for the program through lateral entry system can attend classes directly from 2nd year onwards.
The innovatively-designed curriculum of the B. Pharmacy program enables students to gain knowledge of theoretical concepts of pharmaceutical science. At the same time, the students receive training for extracting and identifying therapeutic compounds from natural and organic sources. They also develop and fine-tune skills in analyzing and synthesizing medicinal compounds.
The learners pick up the dexterity for screening concerning pharmacological procedures and preparation of pharmaceutical dosage and evaluation. Once the students are through with the course, they acquire the ability to apply their theoretical wisdom and practical skills for pharmaceutical care.
The curriculum of the Master of Pharmacy program runs for two years. Students willing to pursue the M. Pharmacy course of this college can choose to specialize in pharmacology, pharmaceutics, or pharmaceutical analysis. This master degree course in pharmacy equips students with advanced knowledge about varied aspects of pharmaceutical science.
Any candidate who has a B. Pharmacy certification from JSS University, Mysore, or any other UGC-recognized university can apply to this course. Additionally, the applicant should have or must secure at least 50% marks in the B. Pharm exam for guaranteed admission.
SPC’s Doctor of Pharmacy program’s syllabus is spread across twelve semesters stretching into six years. To be eligible for the course, a student has to clear the 10+2 examination with chemistry and physics as mandatory subjects. The candidate must also have had biology or mathematics apart from physics and chemistry.
During the study period, the students gain knowledge about how to formulate and prepare medicines. The aspirants imbibe concepts about clinical pharmacy, pharmaceutical care, and pharmacy practice. Once a student is through with the course, he or she becomes capable of diagnosing and treating diseases, monitoring patients, selecting and using medicines.
The Pharm.D course has been specially designed for students desirous of imbibing advanced concepts of clinical research. On the other hand, this master degree program allows the pupils to attain a profound understanding of pharmacy practice models. The learners receive instructions on medicinal biochemistry, pathophysiology, pharmaceutics, clinical pharmacokinetics, pharmacotherapeutic drug monitoring, clinical toxicology, and so on.
