The faculty is very supportive as the teacher’s behavior towards us is very good. They treat us as their own children and support us in every sitution. They encourage us to do new things other than just study. The faculty members boost our confidence so that we can interact with the people outside the college as well. Mehr Chand Mahajan DAV College for Women in Chandigarh have best and experienced faculty. In my course BCA teachers are highly skilled with coding, backend, languages and futuristic technologies. They have cleared renowned and prestigious exams like UGC NET, JRF, GATE, etc. Almost all of them are Ph.D graduates. They are graduated from prestigious institution like Thapar, VIT, PEC, etc. One of our teacher got 1st AIR in PU CET PG examination. They provide us assignment which is based on computer codes and related to our syllabus. Faculty is strict in terms of 75 percent attendance and mid terms examination. Teachers are strict in terms of test and assignment submission. If one is absent from one week without any notice her name will be called off from institution. There's a timing of exit that is 12PM however you can come any time. Elections are peaceful here. Teachers will not allow anyone to enter the class after the lecture has begun. Practical examinations are conducted prior final exams and teachers are required to take viva. Teachers are strict in terms of practical assignment. No one is allowed to enter if assignments are left unchecked before practical examinations. Although teachers are strict in terms of study but they provide quality of notes, PDFs and PPTs. They provide good learning environment and supports students to engage in other activities too.
