Infrastructure of college is good as compared to other colleges of Chandigarh. We have one hockey ground, basketball ground, tennis court, badminton court, etc. We have fully air conditioned auditorium. One thing which we don't like in the college is our benches. Few classes in our college have really old wooden benches which sometimes make it uncomfortable for sitting. Rest labs, canteens and sitting area of our college are commendable.

Campus Life of MCM DAV College Chandigarh is great. You will get to meet a lot of amazing people with whom you will be going to share lifetime bond. We have an annual fest called Meraki fest. It is a two day fest. It happens in February. Its amazing experience. A well known singer is invited for performances and on second day we do party. That party is truly once in lifetime experience. The infrastructure is small but interesting as the entry is enhanced with the fountain. There are flower gardens in our college. Rishi vatika is also good which is like a little forest. There is a playground which is good to sit and chill in winters. Food courts are also good. Hash uncle has an outlet in our college that was started a week ago. It is a new style food court that provides a good infrastructure.

The campus life is good as we can explore the college in different ways. Various college functions are conducted like Meraki annual fest. It is a good add on to the college. Different departments plan different events for the so their interest is build in their studies.Read Full Review

Infrastructure is well maintained. There are three buildings for various departments. Computer Science and Application department have separate building block. Campus is green and beautiful, entrance has two gardens one is butterfly garden which is equipped with a pretty waterfall and other is on the left, soothing to see Jasmine trees there. Another is in front of principal's room. There's a celebration ground for fest, auditions, concert, NCC practice, and more. All the gardens and grounds are well maintained. Then came the auditoriums, there are two auditoriums one is above canteen and another is on the right side of the main entrance. The main auditorium is in the golden jubilee block. This one is huge with a large capacity and huge stage to showcase your talent every fest i.e. freshers, IT fest, etc. are conducted here. Auditorium is pretty and fully furnished. It is equipped with ACs, lights, speakers and sound system, etc. There's a ramp in auditorium for differently abled students. There are two green rooms. Green room is spacious and clean. Green rooms have proper ventilation and mirrors are also clean. Overall green rooms are tidy. Buildings are well maintained. There's a gym facility. Composite pits are maintained for waste treatments. Water coolers are clean. Student washrooms are clean and well maintained. In front of college canteen there is a spacious library. It's having every kind of book which is essential part of a student life. Library is fully air conditioned and well ventilated. There is a lift but it is only for college staff and differently abled students. There's a ramp between buildings for differently abled students. Overall infrastructure is good.

Campus life is good. There's even a lunch break between lectures, at that time we can explore the college. It is a beautiful campus but not so huge. College organises annual fest Meraki a three day fest which include competitions and activities like dance, singing, face painting competitions, singers concerts and DJ night till 9 PM. IT fest for It department students also includes competitions related to our field example debugging, IT quiz, Rangoli making, research paper, collage making, best out of waste, power point presentations, poster making, logo making and much more which is fun to be a part of. Diwali fest and Holi fest are there every year. Stalls are made in celebration ground for Diwali fest. And in Holi fest DJs are played till 4 PM. Seniors are friendly as there's a strict provision against ragging. Geetanjali helpline is made available for students in case of any help in terms of physical abuse or any other mental stress. Various clubs are there like Avege- the western dance group, young Communicators Club, NCC Wings, Rotaract Club, Creative Writing Club, Physiology Club, MCM Sophies Club, The Book and Film Club, The Red Ribbon Club, MCM Eco Club, Electoral Literacy Club and many more. Other than fest sports day is celebrated to promote physical strength and NCC also organise self defense training for students in collaboration with Chandigarh police.
