The Institute’s full-time D.Pharm course is for 2-years. Moreover, the course students have to undergo 500 hours of practical training within 3 months at government-run hospitals or pharmacies. Through the course, they learn about the basics of Pharmacy that comes handy when they go on to pursue higher studies in the given field.
Armed with the diploma certificate, they are eligible to work as Pharmacists in hospitals and other healthcare centers. Or, they can avail the option of starting their own drug store.
Eligibility Criteria
The course’s eligibility criteria require the applicant to pass their 10+2 / Intermediate / PDC / Pre-university course / Higher Secondary Examination in Science stream. Also, they have to be 17 years of age, or above, in the year of application.
The College’s full-time, undergraduate-level B.Pharm course is for 4 years. During this program, the pupils are to undergo practical training in hospitals, research laboratories, or pharmaceutical houses. The training period is 150 hours that the pupils have to cover within 45 days.
Eligibility Criteria
The candidate has to clear the 10+2 examinations. More so, the compulsory subjects should include Physics and Chemistry. Other subjects that they must study are Computer Science / Mathematics, Biology / Biotechnology. They have to, also, secure minimum 40% aggregate marks; the reserved classes have 5% relaxation.
The D.Pharm graduates are eligible for the II year of the B.Pharm course. Additionally, only candidates who are 17 years, or above, during the year of admission are eligible.
The MCP’s Pharm.D program is a full-time and doctoral-level one. The course’s 6-year duration includes 5 years of College study and 1-year hospital internship.
For practical training, the students have to practice at the clinical facility of the parent hospital that is the Mallige Medical Centre. Also, they get posting in hospitals for 75 hours for completion within 200 working days.
Additionally, the students have to complete project work with the supervision of teachers. The Head of the Department must approve the project topic as well. Besides, the pupils have to submit a written report of the project during the academic year. The course students have to undergo 1-year mandatory internship, too.

The course’s eligibility course states that the candidate has to clear the Pre-University course / Higher Secondary course / PDC / 12th standard / intermediate examination. More so, the subjects should include Chemistry and Physics. Also, the candidate has to be 17 years, or above, to be eligible.
Under the College’s 2-year, full-time, postgraduate-level M.Pharm program, the students can specialize in Pharmacology or Pharmaceutics. There are 4 semesters where each semester is for 6 months. The first and second semesters entail coursework; and the 3rd and 4th ones, project work.
Eligibility Criteria
The program’s eligibility criteria include the candidate to pass the RGUHS’ or any other PCI-recognized University’s B.Pharm degree. They, also, have to secure 50% of aggregate marks in the exams to be eligible.
