Hindu College of Pharmacy Guntur

Hindu College of Pharmacy has a career guidance and placement cell that organises campus recruitment drives, training sessions, skill enhancement programs, industrial visits, expertise sharing, guest lectures, seminars, and more for students. Some prominent employers of college graduates include Alembic, Divi’s Laboratories, Omega Healthcare, NATCO, Medi Assist, Apollo Pharmacy, Dr. Reddy’s, Aurobindo, Hetero, First Health, Orion Solutions, and many more.

The college campus is located in the city of Guntur and is spread across 2.5 acres of land. The campus has state-of-the-art facilities and smart classrooms that provide a conducive teaching-learning environment. Highlighted below are the facilities available on campus:

• Hostel: Student accommodation with uninterrupted water and power supply is available in the hostels.
• Labs: There are multiple labs for pharmacognosy, biotechnology, pharmacology, pharmaceutics, etc. with equipments that are at par with industry standards and facilitate high-quality research in pharmaceutical sciences. Additionally, there is a herbal garden with various medicinal and culinary plants, an animal house approved by CPCSEA, and a drug museum.
• Library: The college library has a collection of 10,000+ books and journals in print and digital formats. The library also has subscriptions to over 100 national and international journals that students can access.
• Auditorium: The college has an auditorium with all modern technologies necessary for any sort of audiovisual presentation. Different cultural events, seminars, workshops, conferences, etc. are conducted at this auditorium known as the Swami Vivekananda Memorial Auditorium.
• Computer centre: The college has a classroom-cum-laboratory with over 30 PCs connected through Wi-Fi.
• Gym: The college gym also referred to as the ‘Fun-N-Fit Zone’ is open to students and faculty members. The gym is facilitated with equipments, a jumping board, a running path, a cricket field, a fencing area, and a trainer to help students use them.
• Transport: Students can avail transportation facility by enrolling on a first-come-first-serve basis. The routes and pickup points will be specified by the college.
