The university majorly focuses on providing placement opportunities to young engineers and for this, it has established a Training and Placement department. This department works actively on facilitating placements of the students in various government, private, national, and multi-national companies. For this, the department maintains professional relations and invites them for the on-campus placement drives. It facilitates the students by offering them close interaction with industry officials by organising seminars, workshops, conferences, industry tours, expert visits, etc.

The university believes that practical training plays a vital role in getting placement and therefore, NSUT guides the students in developing major skills like communication, technical, soft, and professional. It also provides summer and winter internship programs to the students so that they can understand the field work closely and understand how the industry works.

Some industries where the students of NSUT go for internship training are Google, Bharat Petroleum Corporate Limited, Amazon, Microsoft, Hero MotoCorp, etc. Companies that visit NSUT to recruit students are Deloitte, KPMG, Reliance Jio, Adobe, Limeroad, LinkedIn, Lenskart, Samsung, Avanti, Flipkart, Amazon India, Make My Trip, Tata Consultancy Services, HCL Technologies, HealthKart, Jabong, Wipro, Microsoft, etc.

Located at Dwarka, New Delhi, the campus of the university is divided into three parts, i.e. Main Campus, West Campus, and East Campus, and it is spread over an area of 145 acres and facilitates a diverse community of learners. The infrastructure of the university fulfills all the academic and social needs and requirements of the students by providing state-of-the-art facilities and amenities. The university has various active societies and clubs that help the students showcase their talents and develop team spirit and values. Students can experiment with their hobbies as there is a Dramatic Society, Photography Club, Choreography Society, Music Society, Technical & Non-technical Society, Literary Club, Automotive Club, etc. The campus of the university has a ragging-free environment and to protect the students from any untoward incident, the university has established committees like the Grievance Redressal Committee and Prevention of Cast-Based Discrimination Committee. Counselling facility is also provided to the students which helps them in fulfilling the emotional and psychological needs of the students. The university also organises various fests and pro nights for the entertainment and fun activities for the students. Students of NSUT are facilitated with smart classrooms; Wi-Fi enabled campus, well-equipped laboratories, and various other amenities and services like:

• Library: NSUT owns a Central Library which facilitates the academic and research needs of the students. The library is spacious, properly arranged, and stocked with resources from all disciplines. The library has a collection of more than 23300+ general books, 37000+ volumes, 10000+ titles, 18+ national Hindi & English newspapers, 55+ magazines, national & international journals, periodicals, etc. A book bank is also available in the library with more than 1000 books along with the internet for digital access.
• Hostel: NSUT offers excellent accommodation facilities to students coming from outside Delhi. The university has 6 hostels in total, out of which, four are for boys and two hostels are for girls. Each hostel is well maintained and ensures a comfortable environment and stay for the students. The rooms of the hostels are furnished, clean, and spacious. For the entertainment of the hostellers, a common TV room, carom & chess, badminton court, and a table tennis room are available. As per the preference of the students, sports matches and movies are also projected on the large screen. Wardens and security guards are always present on the campus of the hostel for the safety of the hostellers. For the hostellers, the university also organises various events and celebrations for students coming from various parts of the nation. A mess facility is also provided to students that serves home like delicious and healthy food to the students.
• Sports: To keep the students healthy and physically fit, the university has arranged an excellent sports infrastructure. Both male and female students of the university take an active part in various sports and games events like annual sports day, interclass sports tournaments, and inter-university tournaments. Expert trainers and coaches are provided to the students along with two Basketball & Volleyball grounds, a Cricket ground, a Football ground with a seating capacity of 4500+ spectators, two Tennis courts, a 400 m Running track, Softball, Weight Lifting, etc.
• Canteen: The University has four excellent canteen facilities for the students. All the canteens are spacious, well maintained, and serve both vegetarian and non-vegetarian meals at affordable prices. The seating area of the canteens is comfortable and the food is being cooked in a hygienic and clean kitchen.
• Medical Facilities: The University has round-the-clock medical facilities for the students. There are part-time & full-time doctors and nurses who look after the students who need medical attention. An ambulance is also present on the campus to transport anyone with medical emergencies. Specialists and consultants also visit the campus for frequent check-ups of the students.
• Other Facilities: Shopping Centre, Banks, ATM, Guest House for visitors, etc.
