Swami Shukdevanand Law College, also known as the S.S. Law College started its operations in 2003. The college is affiliated to Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University (MJPRU), Bareilly and recognised by BCI. The college is accredited by NAAC.
Vision: The vision of the college is to impart legal education to the students and spread legal awareness among the people of Shahjahanpur and surrounding districts of the State. The college plans to create a community of competent professionals who can solve legal and social problems and promote justice.
Mission: The mission of the college is to instill a sense of intellectual curiosity and commitment in students and prepare law abiding citizens of the country. Their aim is to improve the students’ English communication and writing skills and help them develop their ICT skills to face the global challenges.

Admission Process
Selection of students for admission to the LL.B and B.A.LL.B program is based on merit marks secured in the qualifying exam. Admission to the LL.M course is provided on the basis of the entrance exam conducted by the University following the counselling of eligible students.
SS Law College Shahjahanpur grants scholarships to students from all communities who are financially weak. For availing scholarships, such students must fill in the scholarship form & submit it at the College’s office along with the supporting documents.
The campus of Swami Shukdevanand Law College is located in Shahjahanpur (near the Garrah River), Bareilly. The entire college is under the e-surveillance of CCTV cameras, voice recorders so as to ensure the safety of the students.
