The Council of Education, a trust set up by the late Dr. Ratnappa Kumbhar, established Shahaji Law College in 1933. The college is approved by BCI, NAAC accredited and affiliated to Shivaji University. It is a public educational institution providing undergraduate, postgraduate, and diploma courses in law.
The Shahaji Law College besides the undergraduate and postgraduate courses offers diploma courses as well for taxation laws, cyber laws, and labour laws. Admission Process:
The Alumni Association of Shahaji Law College offers scholarships and merit prizes to meritorious students and economically weaker students. There is a special cell that works towards the welfare of SC/ST students. It provides financial support to such students who are economically weaker but are meritorious.
The college has a strong placement cell that ensures students get placed with notable organisations. Furthermore, workshops, soft skills programs are organised at the college to groom the students for recruitment drives.
