IHM Gwalior provides training and employment opportunities to the students. Placement and Training Cell at the Institute guides and prepares the students to acquire an appropriate position based on their choice of industry.

Institute of Hotel Management Gwalior provides several amenities required by the students during their educational journey. Major facilities provided by the institute are:

• Library: The college library is stocked with books, journals, periodicals, CD’s, video cassettes on various fields like tourism, hospitality, service, management, literature, marketing, etc. Not only this, it has subscriptions to weekly trade journals, national and international journals, magazines, newspapers, etc. The students can issue books using their ID card for a particular period of time. The books issued are used for reading, research or reference purposes.
• Laboratories: Computer Lab at IHM Gwalior is equipped with approximately 42 computer systems with licensed software. The air conditioned laboratories are used by the students to gain knowledge, prepare presentations, apply for jobs, access mail accounts, etc. Moreover, the students use the computer systems for online tests, resume building, checking for updates on campus interviews, etc. Other laboratories offered by the Institute are stacked with cooking equipment that are used to make bread & pastry products, learn basics of cooking, advance cooking, etc.

• Auditorium: The fully air conditioned auditorium has a seating of approximately 200 people. It is stocked with upgraded furniture, spotlight, equipment, etc. It is used to conduct events like independence day celebration, fresher’s party, college activities, presentations, guest lectures, etc.
• Hostel: The 100 and 192 bedded hostels are provided to girls and boys respectively. It facilitates the hostellers with twin sharing rooms that are equipped with hot water facilities during the winters. Moreover, it offers a dining area, recreational room, various indoor and outdoor games, security, etc.
