There is a Career Guidance and Placement Cell at JSS Law College Mysore. The committee helps with both on-campus and off-campus recruitment drives. The aim of the committee is to create awareness among students so they can identify different career opportunities as per their professional objectives. The placement cell creates a bridge between the potential employers and the students and helps them gain exposure in the industry.

The potential recruiter has to register at the placement cell before recruiting. They can organise induction programmes or similar events to educate the potential applicants on the nature of the job. Recruiters can set any eligibility criteria for the recruitment process but must disclose all the conditions related to the vacancy. Any communication with the student related to the recruitment must be done through the college placement cell, by the recruiter. In case a student gets selected by more than one recruiter, they have the liberty to choose the company of their preference. This will be in turn intimated to the recruiter by the placement cell.

The college also helps students gain internships to hone their skills for a better professional life.

The JSS Law College has an array of infrastructure and amenities to nurture the academic prowess and overall personality of the students. From a well-equipped library to information center to extensive sports facilities, there are many experiences to look forward to after completing the admission process at the college.

• Infrastructure- Some of the notable infrastructure includes a well-stocked library and a computer lab with cutting edge technology to make all kinds of legal resources easily accessible. The computer lab also serves as a language lab that helps improve the student’s fluency for better communication. There are ICT facilities as well to conduct presentations, seminars and workshops. Lift, Solar electricity system, etc. are among other additional infrastructure students can get.
• Moot Court- The college has a moot court club where students can join to practice their soft skills and communication in the real-world setting of the court. Healthy competition is encouraged and students are selected for national moot court competitions.
• NCC- There is a strong NCC Air Wing of 2/4 KAR AIR SQN. The students, especially women NCC cadets from the college have made the college proud at international level also. The active NCC unit is an inspiration for students who aspire to pursue a military career after completing their degree.
• Sports- The college has many indoor and outdoor sports facilities. There are yoga classes, gym, coaching camps for different sports, and sports teams that participate in inter-college tournaments. Orientation programs are also conducted for talented sports persons who seek admission at the college. Furthermore, there is a sports committee that organises relevant events and manages the incentives for the participants.
• Cultural Co-curriculars- Co-curricular activities range from fests, cultural functions, sports days, and more that offer occasional recreation to the students.
