Situated at Joneshganj, Jabalpur, Hitkarini Law College was founded on June 1, 1993. It is the oldest law college of Madhya Pradesh. This college is affiliated to Rani Durgawati Vishwa Vidyalaya. Hitkarini Law College Jabalpur is recognised by the State Bar Council of Madhya Pradesh and Bar Council of India (BCI). Also, it is accredited by NAAC. The college offers admission for the LL.B program at the UG level.

Admission Process

The admission process at Hitkarini Law College is conducted through online mode. The admission usually begins in the month of May-June every year. The college accepts students from domicile state and other states as well. Students who are seeking LLB admission at this college have to apply through the EPravesh MP Online portal. Given below is the complete details of the admission process of Hitkarini Law College:

• Online Registration: Candidates must go to the EPravesh MP Online website, and register themselves using personal details including name, date of birth, phone no., email ID, etc. Education details will also be required such as marks secured in class 10th & 12th, UG scores, etc. Students have to pay the registration fees to successfully submit the online application. The registration form must be filled out before the last date.
• Documents upload: The submission will be completed only upon uploading necessary documents. Such documents include candidates’ recent photograph, class 12 marksheets, marksheets of first till last semester, domicile certificate, passing certificates, and category certificate / physically handicapped certificate (if any). All the documents must be scanned properly before submitting.
• Choice filling of Institute and Programs: Students will be given an option of choosing their preferred institute and programs. The portal will display all choices. Candidates can select their preferred institutes and programs in order of preference.
• Verification of documents: The admission committee verifies all the documents submitted online by students. If any documents are found to be false, the authority reserves the right to cancel the particular application.
• Publication of Merit List and Seat Allotment: Post document verification round, the counselling session begins. In this phase, the authority releases the merit list containing the names of the eligible and selected candidates. Based on the students’ merit and availability of seats at the institute, students are allotted seats. Applicants must download the seat allotment letter. The counselling is conducted in a total of 3-4 rounds.
• Fee Payment and Final Admission: Further, the students have to pay the requisite amount of fees through self / kiosk. It is the last process before the admission is finalised. On paying the fees, candidates will be granted admission to the respective college. The classes will commence on the notified date.
