The BES College of Law courses include the Bachelor of Arts + Bachelor of Law (BA + LLB) and the Bachelor of Legislative Law (LLB).
BA LLB
The College’s BA LLB course is a 5-year full-time undergraduate dual specialization program, for getting the students acquainted with the socio-political aspects of the law profession, using a multidisciplinary approach. The aspirants under the general category, to qualify for this program, have to complete the Senior Secondary School course (10+2), or equivalent, having scored minimum 45% aggregate marks; besides, the maximum age limit is pegged at 20 years under this grouping.
After earning the BA LLB degree, the students become eligible to work as public prosecutor, notary, trustee, company secretary, law reporter, legal advisor, solicitor, assistant legal advisor, oath commissioner, and deputy legal advisor – among others.
LLB
The LLB course is a full-time 3-year undergraduate law program. For this course, the applicants who are applying under the general category are required to graduate in any discipline from any recognized institution to qualify, having scored a minimum of 45% aggregate marks in the qualifying exam; moreover, they should not be over 30 years of age.
The career options after securing the LLB degree include Legal Advisor, Lecturer, Public Prosecutor, Legal Manager, Legal Services, Chief, Reporter, Advocate, and Legal Services Chief – to list a few.
Note
The BES College of Law fee structure requires the students to pay the course fees within the given deadlines; otherwise, the pupil will not be promoted to the next year. Thus, students are advised to pay the college fees before the deadline expiry.
