IHM Bhubaneswar has a Placement Cell. The Institute has strong relations with the companies in the travel & tourism trade. It conducts campus interviews every year to facilitate placement opportunities to the students in renowned organisations.

Institute of Hotel Management Bhubaneswar is built in an area of approximately 40,000 sq. ft. land. The Institute offers world-class infrastructural facilities like spacious classrooms & common rooms to aid the overall growth of the students.

Some of the other major amenities offered to the students are discussed in detail below:

• Library: There is a Wi-Fi enabled library in the Institute that is well-stacked with more than 5373 books, around 680 dissertations, non-book materials, roughly 3 Indian & 1 Foreign journals, periodicals, approximately 11 daily newspapers, about 14 magazines, thesis, etc. These educational study resources are available for various disciplines of the Hospitality and allied disciplines.
  E-library facilities include a vast collection of e-books, e-journals, e-databases, e-magazines, etc. Furthermore, students are provided with access to online learning platforms such as Swayam, e-PG Pathshala, National Digital Library, etc. Furthermore, reprographic services are available for the students & staff.
• Laboratories: There are around 2 computer labs with Wi-Fi connectivity that have an accommodation capacity of approximately 35 students. The Institute has well-equipped and ultramodern laboratories where students gain experiential learning. Some of the labs are:

• Auditorium: The auditorium is large & has a huge seating capacity. It is equipped with modern lighting fixtures and other requisite amenities.
• Hostel: The Institute provides separate accommodation facilities to the boys and girls. Mess facilities are provided to the students thrice a day and the menu is changed every week. Other amenities include a common gym, a separate lounge with TV, chess, carrom board, & other indoor games. Basketball & badminton courts are also present in the hostel premises. Doctor is available to provide medical assistance to the hostellers when needed.
• Sports: Requisite sports facilities are available in the Institute’s campus. Various sports competitions are regularly organised by the Institute to encourage the students to stay physically fit.
• Transport: Conveyance facilities are provided to the female students by the Institute.
• Medical Facilities: Standard first aid facility is provided to the students to ensure their well being. A qualified medical practitioner visits the Institute on a regular basis.
