The course of MBBS is of long duration which consists of 4.5. Year of study and 1 year of mandatory internship which total comprises of 5.5 years. For getting admission in this college for this course, one must clear the NEET examination within the cutoff range of the college; students eligible with the range of the cutoff can get admission into this college after through a series of counseling procedure. Katihar Medical College is very strict with their studies as they serve to society. It is much disciplined and follows all rules and regulations in spite of students or professionals. Overall academics of our college are very good as compared to many other similar colleges. Students from our college are appointed on many reputed institutions by their hard work and continuous study. Our college not only focuses on academic but also in sports. All over it depends on how students are studying and hard working on it. College is very strict with discipline and follows all rules and regulations. Since our college is a private college it provides scholarship to selected students. It follows all rules and regulations given to them by NMC.
