National Institute of Ayurveda

To secure the future of the students and to provide them with relevant employment opportunities, the institute has established a Placement Cell. This cell organises placement drives for their UG and PG students. This cell maintains positive and professional relations with multiple Pharmaceutical Industries, Ayurveda Institutes, NGOs, and other similar organisations and keeps a record of job openings in these organisations from time to time. The institute also trains its students and equips them with basic professional skills and knowledge.

Located at Madhav Vila Palace, Amer Road, Joravar Singh Gate, the campus of the institute is world-class, pollution-free and its modern infrastructure provides excellent educational opportunities to the students. To make the institute life of the students fun and interesting, Cultural activities are organised regularly. Here, several games, activities, and events are organised and more than 400+ students take part in it to showcase their talent and passion. The institute is designed as per the statutory regulatory body of Ayurveda of India, known as the Central Council of Indian Medicine (CCIM). As per CCIM, the institute has well-furnished classrooms with ICT facilities and air conditioners, separate classrooms as per the requirement of the courses, seminar halls, a botanical garden for practical knowledge, Wi-Fi-enabled campus, a museum, and various other physical amenities and services like:

• Laboratories: The Institute has well-furnished, resourced and equipped laboratories to provide practical knowledge and experience to the students. Each department has its own labs that help the students in using their theoretical knowledge and experience new things on a daily basis.
• Library: The library of the institute is the knowledge hub for students studying here. The library has excellent publications and reading materials covering fields like Allopathy, Sanskrit, Ayurveda, Philosophy, Science, etc. The reading area of the library is reader-friendly with a reading collection of 23,000+ books, 110+ international and national journals, newspapers, 1600+ annual volumes, periodicals, references, etc. The library also has various rare books and ancient publications in its library collection. Apart from print materials, the library also provides online research and reading materials like e-books, e-journals, and other online database. NIA also has computer systems in the library with fast internet facilities and software to promote research in smart ways.
• Hostel: The biggest campus of the institute has all the hostels. There are separate hostel buildings for girls and boys along with guest houses for visitors. The hostel of NIA Jaipur fulfills all the basic and major needs of the students and provides them with a favorable atmosphere to stay and study. Every hostel has electricity backup facility, maintained rooms, clean drinking water facility, cleanliness facility, etc. Spacious mess facilities with comfortable seating areas are also available for the hostellers. It serves delicious and nutritious meals to the students.
• Canteen: The institute has a canteen facility that offers snacks, tea, coffee, breakfast, and lunch to the students. The seating arrangement of this canteen is comfortable and serves meals at affordable rates.
• Sports: NIA has adequate space for multiple sports facilities as it has well-organised sports grounds along with the necessary tools and equipment to play other sports & games. To provide better and smooth management, the institute has established a committee that looks after the issues related to sports and organises various sports events and tournaments on a regular basis. NIA Jaipur offers indoor and outdoor games and physical activities like Long Jump, Race, Kabbadi, Football, Tug of War, Badminton, Chess, Carom, Cricket, Table Tennis, etc.
• Auditorium: The institute owns a well-constructed and state-of-the-art auditorium, built on an area of 1970.78 sq. mt. with power backup facilities and air conditioner. The auditorium is modern and is equipped with the latest LCD facilities, sound systems, a big screen, etc. This auditorium is used for organising various seminars, events, award shows, etc and it can accommodate up to 490+ people.
• Other Facilities: Bank, Transportation facilities, Herbal Garden, Yoga, Record Room, IT Center, etc.
