The college provides numerous courses related to various departments of Ayurveda. The college offers UG, PG & Ph.D courses, in various subjects such as, Kayachikitsa, Panchakarma, Striroga, Rognidan, etc. Several certificate and short term courses, related to the Ayurvedic therapies, are also provided by Dr. DY Patil College of Ayurved & Research Centre.
Candidates, who fulfill the eligibility criteria, as required by the college, can only be considered for admission into the college. Admission into UG courses is provided on the basis of All India Rank as well as marks obtained by the candidate in NEET-UG examination and for admission into PG courses, the candidates must have to secure All India Rank and eligible marks in AIAPGET exam, which are conducted by NTA. The AYUSH Admission Central Counseling Committee is responsible for conducting the admission process for the college, thus the candidates are required to have registration with the committee.
The students of Dr DY Patil College of Ayurved & Research Centre receive benefit from the “DPU Merit Scholarship Scheme”, provided by Dr. DY Patil Vidyapeeth, Pune. This scholarship scheme provides financial support to the students of the college who are merit holders, in the undergraduate courses. Meritorious students who are not financially stable, but are deserving and want to pursue their higher education without any hindrance, are provided benefit through this scheme. Top 30% students who perform well in their undergraduate examination are provided a scholarship as prescribed by the college. This scheme continues, till those students maintain their academic score, until the completion of their respective courses.

Dr DY Patil College of Ayurved & Research Centre has a well established and dedicated placement and training cell, which provides relevant training related to the field of ayurveda and healthcare, and provides various placement opportunities so that students can achieve the desired job position in renowned organisations. The placement cell organises various workshops, guest lectures, and seminars, on relevant topics related to the subject as well as for UPSC and other examinations, which can be helpful for students.

Established on an area of 5 acre land, the campus includes multistoried academic and administrative buildings.
