To be enrolled in this college you would have to pass an exam called JEE paper 2 which constituents of 3 subjects 1 is maths and the other is aptitude and last is the drawing. You would get 3 hours to write the exam and your get flying colours if you focus on drawing and aptitude. If you are not that good as well cause then you can focus on maths to score well. Regarding academics, for getting admission in SPAV one has to clear JEE paper 2A which is the entrance examination for B.Arch and paper 2B for B.Plan. Then they have to undergo JOSAA counselling to get seats in the college. B Arch is a good course for people who are artistic and can also manage technical aspects of building construction. SPAV provides an environment to boost student's creativity as well as provides professional training in technical aspects of Architecture. The course I am doing is Bachelor Of Architecture (B.Arch). To learn this course one is required to qualify for the JEE examination or the NATA exam. I qualified for the JEE examination with a score of 97.8. The cut-off will be announced each year followed by an allotment process over the period of a few months. I have had a passion for buildings and aesthetics for some years now. It is the main motivation for picking this stream. Our assignments for 1st year have been very creativity-oriented with comparatively fewer technical aspects. It has been an enjoyable period for my artistic self and I have seen incredible growth in my work ethic. There are about 5 subjects each semester and most of it was completely unheard of. The only common subject I could recognise in 1st Sem was mathematics. The rest are subjects exclusive to the field of architecture. There are few theoretical subjects. The important subjects seem to be the creativity and drafting-based ones.Read Full Review
