Zakir Husain College New Delhi Campus: Photos, Virtual Tour

My campus is small in size and is not much extended but has enough space that is required for any kinds of particular activity. There are two main buildings, one is older one and the other one is new. The older building is segregated into arts block and science block. Science block is a little bit more advanced because of the requirements it needs. It provides specifics advancements as per the need of student. On the other hand arts block is also very good.

Campus Life is good. You can find a huge shadow of politics in the time of DUSU elections but it lasts only for a month. Besides this there are a lot of other activities always happening around the campus. Many religious and other festivals find their place in a secular manner. You can find visiting of different public administrators and intellectual scholars at different point of time. The college's library is fully air-conditioned and has so many books with lots of authors displayed with rich collections. It has lots of well-equipped labs and computers connected with college Wi-Fi. The cafeteria food is okay. It has hospital/medical facilities too. There's no hostel and it's a negative point for people who have to travel more distance away from home. It would be better if it constructs some accommodation for students and even faculty members.

The overall experience of campus life is quite good. The campus crowd is good too. There are official and unofficial groups for everyone. The official ones help the students to interact with teachers and know about important discussions and topics. The unofficial ones are for the students to interact with each other. Thus, the student engagement is possible through this. The fests are not up to the mark.Read Full Review

The infrastructure of the college is average. All the basic facilities and utilities are available for the students. However, little renovation and refurbishment will enhance the beauty of the college along with improving the experience of the students. Because of the compact size of the library, it is always bustling with students. Although, it has decent amount of books. The auditorium is very nice and good.

The annual Festival ‘Zeenat’ is conducted in February. There are societies/clubs for drama, dance, National Cadet Corps, and many more. Recruitment for these clubs/societies happens twice a year.Read Full Review
