Founded in 2004, the Tagore P.G. Girls College is situated in Jaipur, Rajasthan. The institute aims to provide education that empowers women and develops their overall personality. It is a self-sponsored institution where opportunities for constructive occupations are provided along with their alternatives.  

Affiliated to the University of Rajasthan, the institute’s motto is to develop itself as a knowledge center where creativity, innovation, intellect, and wisdom go hand in hand. The institute focuses on developing the employability skills of the students to make them ready for the industry. The institution was envisioned by Sh. P.D. Singh and offers the following Under Graduate and Post Graduate courses:

• Under Graduate Programs: B.Sc., B.Com, and B.A.
• Post Graduate Programs: MA English, MA/ M.Sc. Geography, and M.Sc (Physics/ Chemistry/ Mathematics)

The applicants willing to study BA/ B.Sc/ B.Com need to pass 10+2 or any equivalent examination from a recognised Board with at least 50% marks.

The candidates willing to pursue MA/ M.Sc. from the college need to secure 50% marks in graduation from any discipline and 60% marks if the student is graduating from a University other than Rajasthan University.

Here is the admission procedure:

• The eligible applicants need to submit a completed application form along with the required documents at the institute.
• Before the due date, the fee needs to be deposited to confirm the admission.
• The further steps of admission will be discussed with the students after submitting the fee.

The documents required at the time of admission are:

• Secondary/ Graduation Mark Sheet
• Qualifying Examination Mark Sheet
• Transfer Certificate
• Character Certificate
• Migration Certificate
• Caste Certificate
• Aadhaar card
• 4 Passport Sized Colored Photograph
• 2 Self-addressed and Stamped Envelops

Meritorious students are given a special concession of 25% in Tuition Fee and many kinds of Government scholarships are also provided at the institute. SC, ST, and OBC category students have to submit their caste certificate with the scholarship form.
