NIT Patna Campus: Photos, Virtual Tour

There are several buildings. Various departments and labs are present in the campus. It's almost a 5-minute walk from my hostel to the farthest department. As I mentioned above, NIT Patna is average in terms of infrastructure; but our new campus in Bihta near Patna is going to very good with all the required equipments and facilities. It is still under construction, but half of the construction has been completing and 2nd and 3rd students have started shifting there.

Campus life is good. I would start with the fact that you won't get any fresher's party here. You need to buy your own sports equipment and playing space is also limited. There are various clubs and there is always some event going on at weekends organized by the seniors. The total area of NIT Patna is 38 acres and is located at the bank of Ganga river. It has a great infrastructure with a huge number of labs like VLSI labs, antenna labs, fabrication labs, digital electronics labs, etc. and they are equipped with machines like DSO CR computer systems, etc. Wi-Fi connectivity is available all over the campus and classrooms are outfitted with projectors. There is also a peaceful library with air conditioning. Medical facilities are always available, and there is a great network of sports

The campus of the institute is of sufficient size. It has lot of greenery and scenic beauty. Now it also has its new campus which is located in Bihta. Even after having a compact size campus, all the clubs are active in the institute and many activities, fests and events are conducted from time to time.Read Full Review

NIT, Patna is an institute of National Importance and is located in the main city near the bank of Ganga river. It is spread over a total area of 36 acres. There is also a multipurpose ground for sports events. The institute also has student activity center consisting of gym, badminton and table tennis court, etc.

The institute is a place for a diverse and joyful campus life as there are students from all over the country including the North-Eastern, Southern, Western and Northern parts of India. They all live here with peace and harmony. The seniors here are also very co-operative. Overall this institute has the best campus life.Read Full Review
